Miracles come when we have faith!

Remember how I live in Spain?? Yeah, it´s kind of crazy and I
sometimes don´t even believe it myself! It is so incredible and the
work here is absolutely amazing!!! It has definitely been a crazy week
trying to adjust to everything. The members absolutely love my
companion and me so we are always working with them and we have SOOO many
investigators that we never really get time to even do personal study.
Which has been so great, but also hard because we have really missed
that study time! So this week our goal is to try to have the 2 hours
of companionship study and a full hour of personal study AND language
study! I´ll let you know how it goes next week :)

Miracles honestly start to happen when we believe they will happen.
The Lord is in the very details of our lives and especially in the
very details of missionary work. I am so grateful that He knows me and
loves me enough to send me here to the Spain Barcelona mission to help
these amazing people come unto Christ. Even though we have hard days,
I think that those are the days that we see the most miracles.
Remember to always look for the little "Miracles" in your everyday
lives. I promise Heavenly Father knows each one of you and is helping
you everyday. This past Sunday we had 3 investigators at church and
they are all amazing. Samary and Maria are brand new... we haven´t
even taught them a lesson yet but they were so so so excited to come
to church! They loved the meeting and basically cried through the
whole thing. After the meeting, one of the members in the ward gave
Samary a blessing because she has cancer. It was the most incredible
thing I have ever seen! The spirit was SO strong!! I cried through it
all and then gave her a huge hug and neither of us let go for the
longest time. It is amazing how you can have so much love for a person
when you have only met them once. I know with Heavenly Father´s help
Samary will get better! Also... one of our other investigators was
really sick when we went to give he and his mom a lesson this past
week. We had a feeling we should bring a recent RM with us to the
lesson so we did. When our investigator told us he wasn´t feeling well
and needed to go to the hospital we were able to teach a brief lesson about
the priesthood and then Ventimilla (the RM) gave him a blessing. It was
amazing! The Priesthood is so powerful! To all the priesthood holders in
my life... always remain worthy of your priesthood. It honestly
changes SO many lives!!!! I know it has changed mine!

We have had SO much weird food... this week I think the weirdest was
the seafood picture that I sent with Shim... our Korean convert. And
then also Pig Intestines. YUUUMMM. haha. They actually weren´t that
bad! Surprising, I know. Also, another random thing... we teach clases
de ingles every Wednesday and Saturday and I actually taught it on
Saturday!!!!! Did I have any idea what I was doing? NOPE! haha but it
was fun! The investigators probably think I am crazy since my
spanish is pretty terrible. But oh well! They all told me that I am a
really good teacher after the class so that boosted my confidence a
little bit... good practice for the future, right? :) ALSO, Shim
taught us taekwondo last Saturday! We do it every Saturday. It is
absolutely hilarious! He is so so so serious about it and doesn´t stop
working but then the rest of us just laugh the whole time because some
of the things he asks us to do are only things that Joey Eyring could
do ;) I thought of you a lot Joe as I learned some pretty crazy moves.
I will show them to you when I get home :)

Members feed us LIKE CRAZY!!!!!! This ward is incredible and loves
missionary work... they especially love the sister missionaries. It is
so fun!! We basically have appointments everyday this coming week! I
love the members here! Even though I can´t understand everything they
say yet I just feel like they are my family. One family that fed us
yesterday was so so so cute!!! Their house reminded me of a Jake and
Mary apartment! It was THE CUTEST and looked right out onto the ocean!
AHH breathtakingly gorgeous. The dad isn´t a member and the daughter
is having a hard time right now. Here name is Jala. She is so cute! I
think she is 15 years old and she looks like a mix of Emma and Abbie
Rowen. My goal by the time I leave this area is to be best friends
with Jala and really help her love the gospel and also to convert the
Dad. Ready, set, go!!

It´s so weird to see families here and talk to them about the gospel
because it just makes me miss mine so much!!! Literally everytime I
see little kids I cry and the people probably think I´m so weird! But
then they come and play with me and it just makes me so so happy!! I
miss my kiddos so much!!

Church yesterday was my absolute favorite!!! Sundays are definitely
the best days EVER!!!! It is pretty much just like at home... it isn´t
a "day of rest"... it´s more like the busiest day of the week as we
are fellowshipping and loving and serving and teaching etc. I feel
right at home! Plus I am the pianist for the choir so that´s fun too!
Thanks mom and dad for teaching me that Sunday is a day of service¨:)
The Bishop here is wonderful! We are having FHE with his family and a
few other families and some investigators tonight! And the ward
mission leader is hilarious and loves working with the missionaries!
Everything was a little hard to understand yesterday but with time the
language will come. I am so grateful that the Spirit and the church
are the same everywhere in the world!

Hermana Lee. Wow! Where do I even begin??? She is AMAZING!!!! I am so
lucky to have her! She pretty much never stops working and it is so so
great! We talk to every person on the street that we see... which is
why we have such a huge teaching pool! I just have to remember to keep
that same speed when I am done training! I am so grateful to have
her!! We do "Sacred Grove Moments" every morning... idea from my
"mini mission" in Flordia. I love it!!! Thank you Hermana Young and
Millard!! I am so grateful for you two! We go into rooms right next to
each other for about 15 minutes and just pray out loud to our Heavenly
Father. I didn´t realize how much I missed praying out loud until I
did it for the first time since I have been on my mission last week. I
literally said "Querido Padre Celestial" and then just broke down
crying because the Spirit was so strong. Talking out loud to your
Heavenly Father is SO SO important!! My first challenge to all of you
this week is to try to say at least one personal prayer out loud
everyday! It will be hard at first but SO worth it and you will see
miracles come from it... I promise!!

I LOVE getting emails!! I can only receive them when I have wifi which
is at the church... but we go there everyday! So I would love hearing
from all of you! I am sorry if I can´t always write back each week but
just know that they are SO appreciated and they give me that extra
boost I need to keep going in the day!! Pictures and videos are always
fun too :) Everyone keep me updated on what and how you are doing!!
Thanks!

My schedule in a day is pretty much... work out (running around the
Sagrada Familia, Jillian, or P90X... hard. I know. I die everytime
haha), breakfast, get ready, personal study, companionship study,
proselyting, medio dia (lunch for an hour, language study for an hour,
or medio dia appointments with members), 5-10 proselyting/lessons. It
is so great! I love it! It is a lot of walking and metro riding but so
fun! We find so many people that way!!

My three challenges to you all are:
1. Pray out loud for your personal prayers at least once a day
2. ALWAYS be yourself! Heavenly Father has a specific plan for you
that only you can accomplish. So BE YOU!!! Strive to become who He
needs you to be.
3. Invite the missionaries over for dinner and give them referrals of
people they can teach in your home!

I love you all and I hope everyone is doing well! Keep me updated on
what is going on back home! You are all incredible! Please let me know
if there is anything I can do for anyone!!

Love,
Hermana Allison Eyring
